Munich institutions form alliance to support female entrepreneurs
Seventeen institutions in Munich's innovation ecosystem, including Technical University of Munich (TUM), have formed the Women Entrepreneurs Alliance to coordinate support services for female founders. The alliance aims to connect female entrepreneurs with appropriate resources throughout the founding process and make support more accessible. According to TUM's Executive Vice President for Research and Innovation, there are significantly fewer women than men in start-up teams, and the alliance was created to make support more effective.
