Researchers at the Technical University of Munich have developed a new imaging technique to visualize the network of plant roots and fungi in soil, known as mycorrhizae. Prof. Mutez Ahmed and his team aim to investigate which type of symbiosis is particularly effective in protecting plants against drought stress using this method.
