TUM ranks in global top 20 in four research subjects
According to the Shanghai Rankings, Technische Universität München (TUM) ranks among the best 20 universities worldwide in agricultural sciences, medical technology, remote sensing, and robotics. TUM also ranks in the top 50 in four additional subjects and holds first place in Germany across 22 disciplines. The Shanghai Rankings assess universities based on research paper publication numbers, citation rates in leading journals, international collaboration, and in some areas, major prizes awarded to scientists.
