Sophie Adenot to conduct third spacewalk on September 1
ESA astronaut Sophie Adenot will conduct her third spacewalk on 1 September (EVA-99), the livestream beginning at 12:00 BST. Together with NASA astronaut Jessica Meir, she will exit the International Space Station to replace a spacecraft navigational aid, prepare a cosmic particle detector for upgrades, and install jumper cables for data-relay systems, with the spacewalk expected to last about six and a half hours. Adenot previously conducted two spacewalks on 18 August (EVA-97) and 25 August (EVA-98) alongside NASA astronaut Anil Menon to replace a failed SGANT antenna.
